How do I start a dragon fruit from seed successfully?

I got 2 dragon fruits from the store a yellow skinned one and the normal red one I took about 4 or 5 seeds from each i added Them in small pots and I put the red one and the yellow one in separate pots and the mix I used was garden soil witch was a little rocky and poor but very sandy and a sprinkle of not fully decomposed cow manure so I’m not sure if I burned the seeds by the manure and whenever I’m draining water that has not drained in the pots I sometimes feel worried if I accidentally drained the seeds with the water does that ever happen and do they handle temps 118 Fahrenheit cuz I’ll be planting them outdoors in the ground once mature and I have 2 tall trees I can plant them there for the dragon fruit to climb and I have mild winters so I don’t have to worry about my winters but the summers not so sure about that and how long do I have to wait until I get my own dragon fruit from the tree from seed
