Eat dinner for how many? I would say no the firepit if you want heat get an exterior electric FP. This space does not look inviting at all just 3 stone walls with a screen across the front.

I posted looking for advice on how to lay it out and make it more inviting. Hopefully someone else will have some inspiration to share.

I need a bit more info from you . You talk about eating dinner and I asked for how many people ? this space is very narrow so what ever you do has to take that into the plan without any input from you it is difficult to help. Right now I would say 2 chairs 2 ottomans and a electric fire pit in the middle . Some lighting and maybe a rug. The reason I say no to a regualr firepit is the fumes from propane are not pleasant and you can’t have real fire.Have you thought about building it out to make it a size to actually get some use of I would involve more screening but then you could do an actual dining table there. BTW where does the door lead to?

Door leads into dining room of the house. Patio is back of the house. We have a huge patio with a built in kitchen on the side of the house that’s open on 3 sides and has ample seating This would be more of a space for my husband and I to eat dinner or for me to chill with a book without having to worry about the Texas bugs and critters. I’m thinking a ceiling fan to help cool it down on warmer nights.

Perhaps a small round table in the very corner with two-three chairs. Then I think you already know what you want to do . I kind of like the idea of a fire and a couple of chairs so I think that is where I would go. Ceiling fan and lighting will be good additions.

The only spot on this porch that has potential is the corner at the end..which would accommodate a comfy chair and side table and lamp for reading.... the other end that has two doors and three windows ....is too narrow to accommodate dining with out crowding close to the windows and doors..if none of this bothers you...painting the brick walls and floor would make it more inviting...then adding a rug would make it cozier
