how about some facts on the history of the plant

I have the plant for only a few weeks and the spots started appearing a few days after the purchase. I always water it when the top cm of the soil is dry. I used to mist it regularly as well because I have read that it should be good for this plant.

The first few days it got some direct sunlight when I noticed this I moved the plant to a location with only indirect sunlight but the spots keep spreading.

Do the spots start out yellow and then turn brown or do they start off brown?

Are they brown and crunchy or brown and soft?

Does the pot have holes in the bottom?

Typically how often do you water the plant?

Please describe how you water it.

Have you fertilized the plant?
