We just built too and I was really thinking that I would put tile in the kitchen because of the maintenance. My friend talked me into hardwoods because it is so much easier on the back, feet and legs. I'm so glad that she persuaded me to go with the hardwood. They are really no problem to keep clean with Bona and I do love them. My vote is for the reclaimed wood.

Wood is a warmer look and feel- depends on what you're trying to achieve

Many more of my clients are opting for the hardwood flooring, even in kitchens and powder rooms. The ease on the feet, legs and lower backs is of high consideration as well as bringing the warm aesthetic to the rooms where your family spends lots of time.

Hardwood it is!! Love the warmth it brings...and I didn't think about the old bones! Now I have to convince my Hubby:)
