There are tiny bugs visible in the first pic. Can't tell if they are responsible for the spots, but getting rid of them could be a good idea.

Wounds of some type (bugs, falling debris, etc.) that are scabbing over much like what happens when we get a cut, leaving a scar. If it gets too much to look at, cut the leaf off. It will (should) grow new leaves.

After a few years, you will dividing them and starting new plants. Old leaves come and go but the stems is what is important.

A tussock caterpillar on one of the leaves which will leave a hole and scar. That leaf will probably be cut off next year if not before.

Torn leaf and a hole in another leaf. All growing in a lasagna pan (started some broken stems from the mother plant a few years ago in this pan along with Begonia valida which is now losing the battle)
Last year was even worse so that leaf was plucked off when I brought it back inside for winter.

windberry zone5a BCCanada - I thought those small black dots on the center of the leaf were bugs too! But I have tried EVERYTHING to get them off and they just don't come off :( Tried water soap mixture, alcohol and q-tip. They aren't moving, so I don't know what they are.

edit: At first I thought scale, but with scale you should be able to remove with alcohol and q-tip. Those spots don't budge. They are raised however.
