Ways to cover insulation in unfinished basement ceiling?

Im looking to partially finish my basement. There is insulation in the ceiling and I’m looking for cheap ways to cover that and create some sort of ceiling without creating a vapor barrier as it gets moderately humid down there on very hot days. I live in New England. Basement is not wet at all just humid according to the meter I have down there.

Leave it the way it is until you ready to do it the right way, that would be the cheapest way.

Fabric makes a reasonable ceiling, stretched and secured by push pins or t-pins. You could use flat sheets.

If you have a relative humidity issue in the basement fix that first.

How about a drop ceiling? Example for 64 square feet:
