See if the store you bought the refrigerator from will take it back. The pandemic has created a shortage of refrigerators so the retailer will not have difficulty reselling it. I am having similar problems. My kitchen is 40 years old and trying to replace the refrigerator is a big problem. Our supersize everything culture has included refrigerators and now I have limited options too and the lead time for a new one is 2-3 months. If you need to order a new one, measure all your refrigerator space dimensions carefully and compare them to the specs online very carefully. I found that standard depth varies considerably from brand to brand.

And if it were counter depth, would you be able to open that door on the left there?

My counter depth refrigerator does not stick out like that.

My counter depth fridge only sticks out about an inch beyond my counter....just far enough to let the door open. Can you measure the depth? What’s behind the wall? Maybe you can recess the fridge into the wall?

Sorry, I think I would move the dishwasher. How often will you want to put something in the dishwasher at the same time the refrigerator door is open?

IMO a different fridge would be my choice I think those drawers are just not good at all . Maybe a freezer drawer at the bottom but really you need fridge space . I have not had a regular depth fridge for 20+ yrs and have never missed it . Most counter depth fridges are made to maybe lose 10% of the storage and IMO you gain the fact that you can actully find stuff. The fridge iyou have is just wrong and it should not stick out that far
