2 1/4" is a standard size and readily available at many/most Lowes, Home Depot, WalMart, etal.

How did you find these common parts? I don't see them.

I searched all five pages of Home Depot's "shop vacuum accessories" listings and found one item described as 2-1/4 inch. It was a hose. I didn't examine it because I've got a hose.

I found the same hose and a 2-1/4" x 20" wand on the second page of Walmart's listings, but when I read the wand's description I found "Product Highlights" that make it appear to be a 2-1/2" wand with an error in the title.

On the same page I found a 1-1/4" to 2-1/4" adapter that appears to be real. (I don't need an adapter, though.)

The wand would be useful if it's really 2-1/4". Unfortunately, I've learned that when something that should be easy to find is hard, it often is not what it appears to be when you find it.

Pre-pandemic, I went into the stores and they had bins of them.

I think we must leave it at that. If the pandemic ever ends I too will go to the store, and perhaps I will find that which I seek.
