Replace electric baseboard heaters with wall heaters?

I recently purchased a 1963 rambler with electric baseboard heat. The house is already small (1200 sq ft), and the heaters take up wall space for furniture.
A friend suggested replacing the baseboard heaters with heaters installed in the wall. Is this a good option? Bad idea?

I had a cabin with electric baseboard heaters. The heaters were located under windows. If I did not use the heaters in the winter, the windows would get condensation.

Which wall heater, a gas wall heater would cost $2-3k with installation.

Thanks, Jim. I was thinking I'd go with an electric wall heater, but I guess I need to look into that more. At this point, I don't have gas at my home and I don't want to pay $2-3k for one wall heater.
