Hello! I'm thinking about installing a trellis or arbor (not sure which one is the right term) over my garage so I can grow a flowering vine. I'm really not sure where to start. Would it be something I buy already made or do I need to custom order it? I've searched a bit on the internet and found a few but they're kind of expensive, $1000 to $2000, which I didn't expect.

Assuming I can get the top part (the roof), I will need to figure out how to construct or buy the bottom part so the vine can climb.

Also, I've seen many photos on the internet of trellis over a garage with no vines on it. Do people install them just to add something interesting over the garage?
