Hi there, in escrow on a house that we love, but the kitchen is not currently functional. It currently has a big square island right in the middle, which doesn’t bode well with my feng shui mind and love of cooking. Attaching photos of the room now and a mock up of what we might do. It feels a little bit disjointed to me having a layer inside the window nook. Open to suggestions. Would also love to tuck a couple stools under something and have the backside of the peninsula hang over the living room a little. Can’t decide if it should connect like this or maybe do a cute window / storage bench and leave this a freestanding piece. The window will overlook a new pool :)Thanks in advance!
