Windows, Windows, Windows, oh my headache

Ok been getting window estimates to replace the 30 year old originals on our house. We've met with 5 different companies and the quotes are all over the place.

I think we've narrowed it down to 3.

We're looking at 20 windows. Mostly double hung. 1 half circle in the master bedroom. And 3 very skinny picture windows (like about 12 in wide)

Local general contractor who we have used before and they do quality work. Window brand is Harvey. Not sure exactly which line. They are planning to do full frame replacements on the skinny windows. The quote is 21326.

Local window and siding contractor. Window brand is Sunrise and the model is the Vangurd. They did not specify if the skinny windows would be full frame replacements. Total quote is 12910.

Window Nation - The model was the Georgetown (which I think is a Vytex window). They recommended against replacing the 3 skinny windows - said the width of the frame to glass would result in very little glass. So their estimate is for 17 windows and I think the final price (did not sign up immediately, don't like doing that). Quote is 12537. They were down as low as 9808 if we signed today.

I think we're leaning towards the Sunrise. I feel like these estimates are kind of all over the place so its hard to compare. We're kind of on window overload at this point. Just don't know if we're missing something.

How do we compare?
