Usually I have seen people use pressure treated baseboard in garages as there still might be moisture migrating up through the slab (less likely with the epoxy). A pressure treated 1/8 would be able to be nailed to the framing and just ‘float’ over the concrete lip

Why not just paint that little bit of concrete the same color as floor and be done with it.

My local lumberyard (not big box) sells clear (knot free) pressure treated lumber that’s kiln dried and designed to be finished. The stuff at big box stores is soaking wet and full of knots.

@Angel 18432 I was thinking about that but that section generally gets difficult to clean. So wanted to apply baseboard or cove.

We live in an area with a lot of winter snow and ice for our detached garage we used the plastic baseboard product from Home Depot. Looks good from a distance and seems to not be an issue with water, easy to install and wipe down

I recently put 1"x4" PVC trim board in for someone as garage baseboard, the same kind of stuff people use to trim out garage openings so it doesn't rot. It runs about $8-10 per 8 foot piece on contractor pricing in my area, so not super cheap but not insane. PVC will of course never rot, you can paint it, and it will seal very well to the slab if you don't want water running under there if you use a tri-polymer caulk. PVC will also not be capable of wicking any moisture up to your sheet rock, as even though treated lumber may not rot, it can still take water up and ruin your drywall.

@Diane Possible to share the Home Depot link ? There are gazillion of options and want to make sure i am looking at right one.
