I just sprayed an area 15X25' with roundup to kill the quacked grass in my lawn. It says I can reseed in three days but I will probably wait a week and make sure all the quackgrass is dead.

How would you reseed this area. I am too old (80) to remove the dead turf but I do have two tools to put holes in the ground

Would that be the way to go. Just put hundreds of holes and then reseed, fertilize, and water for the next month.

I going to see with Johnathan Green's Black Beauty which is a mixture of bluegrass and tall fescue. The area is in the sun all day.
