Covered Patio Flooring Adjacent to Pool

We are redoing our backyard and have decided to go with large scale pavers in the backyard. We need another type of flooring for our covered patio, approximately 1,100 sq ft adjacent to the pool and rest of the backyard area. The covered patio has a step down to the pool area, which we would like to get rid of and make flush with the rest of the backyard flooring. First question, should we get rid of that step down from patio to rest of yard and pool area? Second, what kind of tile can I use to cover the existing concrete floor on the covered patio area? We want to cover the existing floor because it will look old and dated once the rest of the yard is done. Third, could we mix the pavers with tile option or should we stick to tile in patio area and poured concrete around the pool and rest of yard? I cannot use the same paver I chose for pool surround as it is too thick (it will result in flooring not being flush in the two areas). I've attached a photos of the space and of the pavers I found and liked for the yard, but need help please!! Thank you!
