Waterproof Cedar Shed w/ Wallpaper?

I'm thinking of covering all surfaces of the pre-cut cedar wood with linseed oil and then caulk and wallpaper (or tarpaper?) the inside of the shed after assembly. Will that waterproof the small shed? Wallpaper just sounds stupid, I know.

The 4x2 shed will be outdoors and I'll have some fabric items stored in there so I'm trying to seal the shed as best as possible but don't know the best course of action. I like the idea of using an oil instead of paint because the cedar smell repels insects.

Thanks for your feedback.
