I was wondering if anyone could give me a reccomendation on which of the two variety's would best thrive in our short growing season.
Location: Colorado USDA z5b
Citrus in my climate can go outside from May to September. The rest of the year is to cold for citrus. My plan would be to keep it in a container in our sun room. My understanding is that Satsumas are more cold hardy and produce slightly larger mandarins while the Kishu mandarin fruit matures faster?
Does anyone have any knowledge between these two varieties.?
