What can I add to this bathroom to make it look stylish, pretty and give it that W🤩W feeling when guests walk inside? This is a half bathroom located downstairs???????

I'd do some art above the toilet

Of course my humor isn't for everyone though.

I would say a pretty colored wall or wallpaper, a mirror with a frame around it, and some nice artwork. Even if you wallpaper one wall, and paint the other walls a color, that would have impact.

I love the wallpaper, would you do all 4 walls or just one

Definitely wallpaper all four walls. Wallpapering only one wall in a small powder room looks unfinished.

Your mirror is the right size and shape, and you don’t need to replace it with a framed mirror. It would look nicer if it was mounted without visible clips, though.

A “powder room” should always have a solid core door (for sound insulation) and a good exhaust fan for obvious reasons. Because it is a small space, decorate it. Wallpaper or colorful paint, and framed art add personality. You need a basket to hold a couple of rolls of toilet paper, a box of tissue and a trash receptacle, and several hand towels.

The first comment with pictures of paint or wallpaper are great.

There are so many directions you could head - dramatic paint color, wallpaper, accessorizing, but if you search Pinterest you‘ll start to be able to narrow down based on your taste. If you decide on wallpaper, you don’t have to paper entire room, as it can get expensive and working in the small room with lots of cutting is not easy. We just papered the wall that you face as you enter and it completely transformed the bathroom.

Adding some color to the walls will make a huge difference (paint or wallpaper). You can also get a framed mirror, but that isn't necessary. However, I would look into mounting your mirror another way so that there won't be visible mirror clips. Especially with a smaller mirror, the clips tend to be more noticeable. After that, adding some nice towels and possibly artwork, it will look amazing!

Paint, wallpaper, or tile. And a new vanity light.

powder rooms can be more dramatic. yours is a blank canvas.

I'd get rid of the pedestal and do a vanity that fit wall to wall. you can then wallpaper the entire room, just above the sink and paint the rest, and change out the mirror and light (depending on what you choose) Something like this gives the room more interest and gives you storage

same idea w/this one. do a floating vanity wall to wall. (this isn't difficult to build) Find a remnant countertop piece (at this size they are cheap). Tile the entire wall behind the vanity (Cloe tile) and leave the rest of the walls white. get a new light /mirror. add some art over the toilet. done.

The cheapest is paint and art. (art over the toilet, or some type of shelving w/art above it)

next is a wainscot all around the room, w/paint or wallpaper above it.

Wainscot and wallpaper w/coordinating colors, can be gorgeous.

don't have money for both? get the wainscot done, paint the walls a dark color, and paint a stencil over it. gives the look of a wall paper

Tile wainscot is also an option, but bigger hit to the budge. this is Cloe tile in the blue. would be very pretty in your room.

Another option is plain white tile in a 2x8 or 3x9 size, placed vertically like this, to use as a wainscot, and a wallpaper (or even a dark paint) above it.

Wallpaper, and someone to do it, is going to cost about the same as tiling. Wallpaper has so many cool choices. bring in mirror/lighting that go with it

another option, paint the ceiling a glossy, dramatic color, along w/some color on the walls.

upgrading your vanity and lighting, can do wonders

This could look cool w/your floors. ship lap painted SW Iron Ore, art, new lighting

shelving over toilet and bring in some accessories. Faux plants, baskets, art

There are a bazillion photos on Houzz of powder rooms with very creative ideas. Start yourself an ideabook and add the pics you like. Before long you'll see what you really want repeated in your ideabook. Your powder room is sort of a blank slate. I would start your project by removing that strange little round corner shelf and replace with specific soap holder hardware that attaches directly to the wall. Get the matching towel bar or towel ring and TP holder. Your lighting and mirror should be updated too.
