I’m in Ohio and have 18 x 18 dark grey tile in the mud room. I love it so much! My only regret is that I didn’t run it into the kitchen.

Yes, I love the color of the first pic you posted, but wonder if it's too dark to be practical? The 6th pic (gray with variations) would hide residue more, but I don't like the look as well. Thanks for posting examples!

I have a new kitchen floor similar to the first picture. We rarely use our front door - everybody comes in through the kitchen. Garage also opens into the kitchen. We had to tile because the constant traffic would have worn a path in a wood floor. We do have a large gray mat, but.... the floor shows every pine needle, every crumb. I love the look of the floor in my new kitchen, but I do find I’m constantly sweeping. Still, it’s worth the cleanup because I love the look.

Dark gray is a popular mudroom floor selection and I live in WI. It shows dirt, etc but so do the lighter tones. Go with the choice you love :)

Also - a comment on the tile layout in the first tile floor picture which looks like 12” x 24” tiles? Our tile guy told us the proper way to lay a floor like that is not the 1/2 offset/running bond. It should be 1/3rd offsets for stability, which is what we did. It looks fine.

Mine doesn’t show anything. Which is good and bad. Ive wiped up water and looked at my rag and realized the floor hasn’t been mopped in a while. I also have 3 German Shepherds who come in this door multiple times a day.

I have the 12x24 tile laid 1/3. Looks great.

Hello! We're doing dark blue in our entry off garage. It had small streaks in it that looks perfect next to our hickory hardwood. Being in MI we also thought about salt but since it's off garage perhaps it's mostly in the car or garage and not reaching the door. White dog hair was also a concern but decided we loved the way it just popped with our floors. We're still building so no idea how it will work for us but I'm thinking it'll be fine.
