not a pro... but your house isn't craftsman. why do you want to put a craftsman door on it?
I think your current door looks fine. maybe the window grills are a bit much but otherwise I wouldn't think anything of it. maybe paint it a cool color. black?

Thanks for your response! The current door really is not worth saving, it’s been painted a few times, has some weird stuff coming out of it and the windows have gold in them which I hate. So the door has to go. I landed on the craftsman style bc of the clean look, I really hate ornate looking stuff and am trying to simplify. I also thought maybe wood look would work with the stone.

I don't see any other wood on your house, which is why I'm not sure it would work. maybe if you did a dark wood it would be OK? since I'm not an architectural pro, I can't tell you what style it is, but I know it's not craftsman! maybe a pro will come in on the style to point you in the right direction, but for whatever reason I think a dark door would look stunning, whether it's painted or a dark wood.

Personally i think a wood would warm it up, and if it’s a fiberglass that looks like wood and you don’t like it, you could always then paint over it. We replaced our door with something like this (tho painted) and love it, the view we get to the outside that was never there before, and the natural light it brings in vs our previous door which was a lot like yours. No to a craftsman door with your style home. I can picture a wood door like this. Show off that pretty archway you have and go for an arched door! Something like this.

I would go with a colored front door, a statement porch light and new house numbers.

I'm not big on fake, so I would say either real wood, or fiberglass in a color. How important is security in your area? If you need a 3-point locking door, that can affect your choices.

I think the arch door suggested by Mel F. would be beautiful. Another option would be something like this that is rectangular but still echoes the arch.

Thank you all so much for the feedback, you have been immensely helpful! Okay craftsman is out, I think we will go with a style like the ones suggested (more glass grids, etc.). I would love wood, but our door takes a beating and I think the fiberglass wood look would be more durable. I’m also all about low maintenance.
