Making my cute greenhouse UGLY for practicality?

My husband and I are constructing a cute little greenhouse for storing and preserving my summer annuals and for seed staring in the spring. I also plan on clearing it out in the off season to hopefully enjoy some bug-free garden viewing (if possible).

Unfortunately, the more I read, the more I find lots of ugly fixes for heating, watering, etc like big black spray painted barrels/jugs, stuffing them in plastic bags, wires/tubes/lights that are really wrecking my all white she-shed/shabby chic romantic vibes.

Anyone find work-arounds for avoiding ugly?

Yes, heating, water, and lights don't have to be ugly. The less expensive options are usually uglier than more expensive ones.

Since you are doing annuals, you might not need much heating for a season extender, they will die anyway since that's what annuals do. You will likely need the heat for seed starting though, depending on what point in winter/early spring you start your seeds.
