That looks awesome! Thanks so much! The only thing is that we’re already doing a full interior remodel and we’re not planning on staying in the house forever. I think pouring new steps might be a little out of our price range. Do you think painting the porch brick white without changing the shape of the porch would still look good?

It looks like the brick of the porch is different from the house. Do you have gutters? What is that black thing over the left window? Can you paint the windows? How about moving the walkway to the left?

Ya, the brick of the porch is different from the house since it was an addition. That's why I was considering painting it white/black. We don't have gutters. The black thing over the window is decorative brick that previous owners painted dark green. We don't really want to do any concrete work since it would be more than we want to spend on updates since we'll be moving in a few years. Mostly we're trying to think of how to freshen it up a little in the most cost effective way possible.

Check out Romabio for solutions for the whole house. They specialize in masonry paint and whitewash. I would do the whole thing and maybe paint the gables to match the roof color so they aren't quite so prominent.
