Corner wall cabinet opening underneath and small space behind

Hi All, I have this corner wall cabinet. I wonder what to do with the opening underneath as well as the small space behind the cabinet. I've seen that some just close that opening with a piece of wood. Other than that I am not sure the best way to deal with it. Leaving a big opening like that makes it look weird to me. Thoughts ? Thanks.

Ignore the corner gap. It is not an issue.

What is an issue is the corner is not square, and the cabinets were not installed correctly as square, with shims. There should not be a variable gap between the two cabinet sides. You are pulling something out of square.

That's the way corner cabinets are built. I only had one customer in 30 years say something about it. I think he slept on top of the cabinets the first night.
