I would put a deeper remoaveable counter on top of that cabinet and a stool it would be nice to be able to look out the window. I really do not think you have space to run anything along that left wall but I would look for a great piece of art to hang there . You could even have that counter I mentioned be wider to go all the way to the fridge with a couple of legs from Ikea it would make a nice spot for a lap top Make sure all that lighting is also LED 4000K it will make the space feel nicer .

Is that a radiator cover? As Patricia Colwell suggests, measure for a top to place on the top of the radiator that will provide you with a table top. I would stretch it over to the fridge, leaving space for the trash can, if necessary, below. You can probably find material, butcher block?, for the top AND legs to support it at Ikea. Or your local hardware store. The wonderful thing is that your legs will be nice and toasty when you are sipping your morning coffee, looking out your window, in the winter!

Yes, it’s a radiator cover. Thanks for the suggestions, I hadn’t considered the extension option.

My favorite breakfast nook when i lived in D.C. was at a kitchen window that overlooked Mass Ave. Extending your rad cover is the optimal choice.

I would put a bistro table and two chairs.
