Nice to still be getting so many blooms, Kate! Love the colors 9f Songwriter and Gwendolyn Rose. And I adore the little table. Nothing cute like that comes up here. I have a very few, 3 seedlings blooming, and Midsummer A Woman's Work has been in continuous bloom since June 2 if I wrote the correct date down. It has bloomed more like June 10 previously and most plants bloomed a little late so I am a bit skeptical. Latina Fiesta may be able to get a few blooms in before it gets too cool. Probably a couple weeks before buds open. Last bloom yesterday on Navajo Pony.

That’s a long time, Nancy, for continuous bloom! At least you got rebloom on Navajo Pony-I think Kay did as well. That was one that did not rebloom for me.

The mushroom is one I have never seen-an article I read about them said they can pop up after a lot of rain (Hurricane Laura, again). If I remember correctly it is Armanita jacksonii. Here is a photo of their progression to fully develop

Song Writer is so pretty!

Beautiful daylilies! I love the color on Song Writer and Best in Class. Those mushrooms are interesting. I have never seen any like that here. Unfortunately all the moisture of Hurricane Laura went south of us. We haven't had any rain in weeks and it doesn't look like we will get any soon. So dry here.

So many pretty pinks on rebloom! Song Writer has wonderful color for you, and with all those buds, it will be blooming for awhile. Moonlit Masquerade is always so striking, and I love the mushroom table and chairs!

Thanks for your Song Writer comments. It is much deeper in color than when it first bloomed. One of my favorite Stamile pinks. I enjoyed seeing the mushrooms. My friend had blue ones too.

Don't apologize for lovely blooms like Songwriter! I especially like Gwendolyn Rose too. This cooler weather is wonderful. It seemed as if the long hot summer would never end and I know winter ewill be here too soon, but oh! This weather and your blooms are lovely!

That blue mushroom is so cool! I have some scapes coming, but I don't know if they will get to bloom before frost. Cooler temps is slowing bloom down a lot.

Isn't it nice to be able to linger over blooms in mild temps and stop to explore Nature's oddities. Songwriter here has a lot of early bad blooms, and thus has been on the chopping block a number of times.

Lovely pics Kate and having blooms in late September is always a treat. The mushrooms are definitely a unique color. My goodness a blue one too. All I ever see here is brownish colored ones.

No daylily blooms here and we are finally getting some rain. Temps dropped into the 40's and low 50's and then popped back up into the 80's. Now we are cooling back down once again. We've had a couple of frost advisories a couple of weeks ago but nothing really affected us here. I've managed to dig out and pot 11 plants and then ran out of planting material for the remaining 2 pots. Not an easy task with the dryness we have here.Wish I could take all of the plants but trying to stay focused on those I really want to have at our new place and I know I'll be able to replace others. Hopefully they will all survive. Still de-stashing and repacking a lot of stuff that we do not currently need to use till we do our move.
