how to decorate glass shelves between rooms

Looking for ideas! Thank you! I am not sure what to do with these shelves and how to best utilize or decorate this space. They are usually empty and I feel it makes the space look unfinished. Also worried about them looking cluttered. Does anyone else have a space like this with inspirational photos they can share? or any recommendations?

I would put a large piece of art on the wall behind the table then re-evaluate. Can the shelves be removed?

I have some painted shelves between our front entry hall and DR. Not as many as you, but I’ve enjoyed chang out decorations with the seasons and holidays. This is from Christmas.

I would collect handmade art pottery (or Native American pots, which I actually do collect) and display a single piece on each shelf. Make sure that whatever you display there is sizable enough to create an impact, otherwise it can just look cluttered.
