They are saying longer stone out of the sets won’t work, they should be able to cut them right?

I don't understand what "longer stone out of the sets" means.

Easiest stone to work a tight radius curve like that would be a fieldstone laid to give the impression of dry stacked. That sort of stone can be hand dressed to mostly follow the curves but won't need to be precisely cut.

This is a project we did about 15 years ago. Unfortunately I don't have a pic from the front of the spa. It's raised 18" off the patio.

We used used narrow pieces of bluestone for the face. Different thicknesses also.

We had to cut each piece to fit. At that time, there were no natural stone veneers available.

Now, natural stone is available in thin veneer even with corner pieces.

It's important the gunite is prepped properly before applying this material.

Run the stone below the water line, and have the water line tile run into it's side.

In my opinion, it looks awful when the stone is stopped at the top of the tile.
