Thanks! I have attached one of my favorite photos of this house, an aerial view of the steel frame. The steel subcontractor was used to doing 3-story suburban office buildings, and he really enjoyed working on our project as a contrast to his usual type of work!

Totally awesome work. I did think of a question though. How does this floating roof element resist lateral loads? Is the abundance of welded steel sufficient as a moment frame, or is there some triangulation somewhere that I'm missing? Also, are the roofs SIPs panels?

I take that as a real compliment, coming from a builder. When I walk on a job site, I am there to listen to the builder. Of course, I do say a few things after a while!
