Suggestions on draft cabinet layout?

I'm working on a "low budget" ikea remodel of my 1950's ranch kitchen. This is not a "forever" kitchen for us and the primary goal is additional counter space and improved flow through the doorways. We also want to move the oven out of the corner too make cooking more comfortable.

The entry from the front of the house is blocked by a very deep fridge that protrudes 5+ inches into the entry, and the narrow peninsula/passthrough creates a chokepoint entering the kitchen, especially if the dishwasher is open.

Touching load bearing walls is not an option, although we were planning on closing up some of the opening that is currently taken up by the pass through to match the depth of the refrigerator (while still allowing the door to open.)

Note that these measurements did not account for window moldings (so a 30 inch cabinet does not fit on the 33 inch wall.)

So, with all that said, here is the draft kitchen cabinets. Ignore all the spots where the cabinets aren't perfectly lined up/no filler/etc. This is about the general idea rather than that detail right now:

Open to all sorts of helpful thoughts/criticism. We are working within the existing space so there really are a limited number of total options. Maybe the sink cabinet could shrink in size??? (double bowl is non negotiable), but we were also planning on using that cabinet for garbage and recycling, so frankly we need the space.

Why aren't you getting a counter-depth fridge?

Our current fridge is practically brand new (not purchased by us) and spending $1.5k to replace it doesn't seem worthwhile considering our modest budget. We also like having a large volume fridge and a lot of the counter depth options are a big step backwards.

As far as a pantry, while a perfect kitchen would have a pantry, our current one doesn't and we'd prefer more counter space for food prep versus more food storage. This layout is already much more cabinet space than we currently have. Overflow/backstock of especially bulky stuff is kept in a pantry in our basement. Do you see a way of fitting in a pantry without losing counter?

ETA: We had thought of making the cabinet next to the fridge a pantry but thought that the counter would be more useful as a landing pad as things are pulled out of the fridge.

If you delete that small section of cabinets that’s next to the fridge, and move the fridge to the left, you could use that space between the wall and the fridge as pantry space. As for having a landing pad, you can use the closest countertop which is only, what, three feet away? (Our fridge landing space is the island, which is directly across from it. When we remodeled our kitchen 20 years ago, we had a small section of cabs w/a small landing spot to the left of our fridge, just like in your plan, which we replaced with a tall cabinet.) You could also put a pull-out shelf at countertop height (36” or so) in the middle of the pantry cabinets if you feel that you really need or want another place to set things down This would work equally as well with the fridge in its current location and the pantry to the left, btw.
