Do you own or rent? If you own replace those two builder lights with flush cans (they can fit in the same junction box). If you rent replace the bulbs so they are the same color.

Regarding the night table the bed is really heavy, everything else is so white. You need bedside tables that bridge that. Personally i like storage so i would buy two vintage wood bureaus (they don’t have to match). It’s remarkable how cheap antique furniture is now... if that is too traditional, I would get something painted or mirrored depending on your personal taste.

if not mirrored, what color? black? the bed is almost black wood. painted black or black wood for the chest? like a bachelors chest size?

I would absolutely not do any more black. you need more richness in the space. Natural wood tones- anything from Oak to walnut would be nice in here. Or brass. But not more black

Really depends on how you envision the room when finished. Did you want storage, matching, or contrasting materials and remember they will influence other choices in room. I love the cane look with your carpet and wall color and the bedding modern, yet warm

the room is pretty empty. and very large. a small night table is too small because the bed is heavy looking. was going to go with all white bedding with a black border . i was thinking black but could it be another wood color? or mirror? or no?

Think about a pretty desk for one side of the bed and for the other side, a different looking night stand perhaps in a natural material such as cane, already suggested to you.. Please no more black,

    Thanks

New duvet. Need euro shams. Thinking black 3 drawer dresser

Glass lamp. White shade. Or black iron lamp?

what color or print euro sham should i put on the bad? black and white print?

I went with this. How would you style the table? What kind of lamp? Glass? White base? Shade? And mirror over table and art above bed?

Hang the painting or lean it?

Will get different lamp for sure

You need another table on the other side. You have the room. Even a small one is better than none

I think you need to move away from dark now. Light coloured, big lamp with a big shade. If you add art above the bed, it should be light and scaled to the width of the bed. Or no art above, just 2 mirrors over the bedside tables- get that second bedside. One more option is to add a double rod close to the ceiling over your bed and add sheer curtains on the inner and curtain panels with a valance on the outer.

was thinking white lamp with white shade. could i put something textural or large mirror over the bed? i also have a chair. could i put that on the other side of the bed? maybe with a throw on it?

Please do not put a large mirror over the bed. Why not another night stand on the other side - as everyone has suggested.

You don't seem to be taking anyone's advise. Are you still asking? The dark picture and black lamp don't do anything for the room.

just put the lamp there to see height . going to get a white lamp with white shade. small white vase with little plant.

will add a small table on the other side of the bed. thanks

what color should the other night table be? and nothing over the bed?

Looks like you bought and are keeping this end table, so I think after you find the right lamp to add to your end table, you can then arrange if you want to hang or lean the picture (pretty picture!). So get lamp first.

    Love your other little accessories.

You don't need another night stand, if that is not what you want, but you may want to add a standing lamp to the other side or small chair with a throw if you have the room.

If you add the art above your night stand with your lamp and accessories, I don't think you will need anything above the bed. The art stands out. It's a great piece.

i did put a chair next to the bed with a throw and a small pillow! thanks so much!

my mother in law painted it! i love the green.. i might hang it. need height but will wait till i get a lamp. thanks so much

love the art piece you added. how about a saturated color for lamps. then add another art piece above the 2nd bedside table you add.

hmmm, lamps I posted didn't post. trying again

one more time for another lamp option..

    beautiful! thanks

    where is that print from?

oh, wanted to say you should hang the art vs leaning it. I also don't think you need art above the bwd if you add above the nightstands.
