I'm planning on starting the process of painting our interior doors black. I was planning on using SW Emerald Urethane paint for the doors, but saw that when it's a dark color it takes longer to cure. We have two toddlers. I guess I'm not sure how long they'd need to be off the hinges before we could re-hang them? Obviously it's hard to get a 3-year-old to be gentle with a door, but it's also hard to live without a door for a long time.

If another type of paint would make more sense, let me know. We will be covering oak doors, so I was planning on using BIN, then the emerald urethane paint.
