Black is classic with red brick and white trim.

Peppercorn leans purple so I wouldn’t do that. If I can add another choice....we just did ours Iron Ore and I’m obsessed!

It's hard to tell for sure. What is the roof color (since that can factor in)?

We painted our sidelights and trim Iron Ore as well and love it! We painted the door itself Oceanside, which is a teal/green blue. Our house front is red brick and we have white trim and siding as well.

I like the black which coordinates with the details on your garage door, your mailbox, and the gray roof color. I'd also paint your table/chairs black instead of red.

If you plan to use a screen/storm door, shouldn't the color match? That reduces your selection by a lot.

Get the blackest black. when the son hits it, it will lighten it.

In fact, when they go to tint the base, have them add a few extra squirts of the lampblack.

I did this w/my black from BM. It was their blackest black. he added 4 more squirts of the black tint. Made a huge diff in the outcome. It's a true, deep rich black.

i'll also mention, if you have access to Fine Paints of Europe, the Hollandlac paint is superb for front doors. One of the few, if not the only paints that won't fade.

This is the high gloss, but they have other finishes.

Oh, another color you might light is a deep Raisin. This would actually look very nice w/the brick and the charcoal shutters. And it's different.
