My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What is “dry” subfloor?

We pulled up the old laminate in our house to discover what smells like old pet stains in the subfloor. We need to be sure the floor is dry before moving on with the remodel, but I’m finding conflicting info online about what exactly that means. I’ve seen discussions where that ranged from 13% moisture to 20%. That‘s a big gap. We’re averaging about 15% right now, but there are some small spots measuring 21%.
