How was the soil before you watered it? Is it getting hit with direct sun? Did you check to see if there are any pests on it?

It looks like either cold damage or was suddenly exposed to more direct sunlight than it's used to.

Give it time to see if it recovers. Make sure it’s in a pot with a drain hole. When you water water until it runs out the bottom. Keep it in the right location, no direct sun. I meant to say bright location but cannot edit sorry. Don’t fertilize. The damaged leaves will not recover but I see at least one small undamaged leave at the bottom so there’s a little

What are we looking at with the squiggly pattern? Is it by any chance a type of wrapping that's holding water and ensuring the soil remains saturated? If so, that is likely the issue. I do agree, however, that it looks like symptoms of chill injury or photo-oxidation (sunburn). What have you done, culturally, for the plant since acquiring it?

That looks like cold damage to me, perhaps done before you took possession since you’ve only had it a few days and it occurred so rapidly. i would remove the damaged leaves, give it indirect bright light Indoors. if the soil seems to be soggy let it dry out before watering again then resume regular watering. if new leaves are unfurling it should recover.
