The one on the right

Actually I changed my mind. The one on the left. Closer to bathroom, more private when other roommate is using the living room and desk area by natural light would be nice.

The one on the right has more windows and a bigger closet.

The 13x9 one has a bigger closet, bigger windows, and the occupant won't be disturbed by people coming/going/using the bathroom when they're sleeping. Easy choice.

To chose a room, I’d consider these questions. What direction does each room’s window face - east for morning light or north for no light or south or west for afternoon light (hot?). What is view out each window? What is more important- larger closet or larger room? Room by entry is @ 15 sq ft larger but closet looks smaller. Which room will be quieter if / when roommate has guests? What about noises from hallway outside apartment- does room closest to entry hear more of that or is this apartment at end of hallway? Is it important to be closer to bathroom?

That's what I thought at first comelyhomely - but I remembered what my roommates were like and we were on different schedules - so being close to the living room is the real issue in my mind. What will provide more privacy for you when needed - being away from the living room or away from the entry? And is a larger closet an issue or not? For some yes - for some no. What I liked about the one by the entry was that the area by the window was larger and usable for a desk. The way the room by the living room is oriented that extra space by the closet is smaller and behind the door so really only useable in my mind for shelves or a small dresser.

When roommates can entertain again and if your roommate has pals over in the living room - you have to trapse back and forth through that space to use the bathroom...so for me, having my space feel separate from the public space is key. But that's me - not you, so what did you decide?

Yes indeed, ariiielxo, what did you decide? Also, what does the door at far end of kitchen by frig lead to? Outside? Is this a ground floor apartment or a stand alone building or...? The answer doesn’t change my original questions I’d ask myself to pick a bedroom but just curious.
