Yes, they are Franz Fontaine Hornbeams. The landscape contractor installed them. They were put in at a smaller size tree-form and then have to be pruned in order to turn the trees into a hedge. If you don't prune them when they are small then the branches get too big to do as a hedge and they balloon out.
