I would put the shelves up over the stool before you decide.... Three might look good...one on top of the other in a horizontal row.

what will be going on the shelves? a hanging plant would be nice. (or hang one from the ceiling in the corner)

I'd prob wait until the shelves were up.

but I can tell you the pictures should be one on top of the other w/a few inches space in between them.

As for me, it is a little bit boring with only text pics, so I would mix with photos.

I'd rather put this guy on the wall or over the toilet, and do the shelves or pics by the window. You need some greenery in there. everything is very beige.

    shelves above toilet,

put up the shelving first. it depends how far out the extend.

also, your two are up too high. did you see the guide I posted?

56" would be about 6" or so lower, no?

If you do go the vertical route, I'd do all 3, if they work w/the shelves.

but I'd think the floss/brush would be better suited by the sink. over by the window would seem weird. to me.

See how far the shelves stick out first. Once they're styled they may interfere with just centering the pix on the wall. It might be better to stack the pix behind the toilet and put the shelves by the window so there's no chance of the view of the pix being blocked. IMO, art, rather than big box store "words" would be a better choice.

Deco The words I actually painted in script myself then I framed them.Beth I just saw the guide. I will separate them a bit also. Thank you.

The window is so small , I was thinking maybe the frames should be smaller? Or would that shrink the space? Hmmmm the little things drive me crazy. The window is 24 x36 The frames are 11x14.

they don't look bad. but I would probably like it a bit better if they were a tiny bit smaller? maybe if you space them out a bit more? or, maybe just do brush/floss?

You did a very nice job on the script!

    Finished look is nice.

Beth. Thank you. Maybe if I figure out a window treatment and raise it to make window appear bigger. This is a my kids bath /hall. Not trying to be fancy just a little refresh. I will space them and or yes maybe just two.

I don't think they should hang higher than the top of the window. Center the middle one 5' above the floor, and allow one hand's breadth between them. I can go for the words if you're teaching kids how to do those things! Looks cute!

Yes I think your right a lot not going hoigher than window.

Looks good! I really like it in the vertical layout, but do think there needs to be some space between them. I would say don't worry if it isn't "within" the length of the window to the left. It can be spaced out larger than the window size and actually will make that wall appear larger because you are tightening up the wall space at the moment to fit within that space. Good luck! Would love to see pics if you change it!

Thank you so much! I get it done tonight.

If you hang the curtains at the height the pictures are hung, it will look like they are intentionally lines up with the top of the window. I would only have about 2" space between them. A "hand" is about four inches (at least that is how it is measured in the horse world, LOL), and that would be too much space, IMO.

I forgot! Get a 84 or 96 inches curtain. Looks much better!

I adjusted your last image. I like the top frame BELOW the line of the window.

    A little too low.
