what product to connect pipe and dehumidifier?

My dehumidifier has a male thread to connect a continuous drain pipe, but the piping my contractor installed is 1/2” with no threading. I ordered a 3/4” female thread to 1/2” connector, but the product is definitely not 1/2” on the second side.

What product do I need??? I need to connect the 1/2” plastic piping to the 3/4” male part on the dehumidifier.
