Glass can be a very durable material but does not handle heavy things dropped on it so I guess in a PR there should not be much chance of that happening. I have put glass vessel sinks in commercial bathrooms with no problems. I would think the Murano glass would be a bit more delicate.

@hayes7 Did you end up installing the murano glass sink? i just discovered it, and am considering doing the same in a new powder room. but its a mountain house, so not a fragile environment. can you share your thoughts so far, and maybe a photo? thanks! hope you liked it

@sumod No, we did not. But only b/c in the end the one i wanted did not go with our decor OR our budget. I’m going with the Kalista perfect sink. Maybe another time i can get the Murano.

I did purchase the Murano sink..looks great and so far no issues.

Oh no! I have been looking at that sink for my powder room. how did that happen?

How did it break? that is my biggest concern.

I have two for about eighteen months with nomproblem then i noticed a hairlinr crack in one of them which latet led to breakage. its pissible i might jave dropped something heavy on it but i dont remember doing that

I also am considering that sink or their shell shaped sink for the powder room in my new house. Has anyone had experience with water splashing all over? Or anyone elee have issues with cracking, chipping or breaking with these Native Trails Murano Glass sinks?

IDK about glass or not glass but funky bowl sinks that sit proud of the counter are getting a lot of hate these days. I think they are a fad that has long past.
