Just amateur, but I'll ask why new siding? and why white?

I have no good reason to replace the siding except I’m not a fan of the T-111. It looks low budget. It’s not in bad shape at all as most of it was replaced when we did a remodel in 2014. As far as why white, I guess it’s just a totally different and more modern look. I have one quote for the Hardie siding so far and it’s astronomical so hopefully the others will be more manageable!

Hi again ! I got one quote for Hardie siding and the sales guy said he would do the horizontal board style. I am loving the board and batten look more. Looking for some inspiration 😀

What makes white a better neutral than light grey? ;)

celery really shows it!... if grey maybe could plant hotter pink shrubs to brighten, and japanese maple for depth of color...

Love the white idea. Would bring in blacks and lots of greens for landscaping
