Making kitchen look bigger

How can I remodel this kitchen to look bigger

I would change that kitchen to a galley kitchen to get rid of that corner sink that takes up so much space. You could pull the cabinets forward on the fridge side which would allow a countertop deeper than usual and also use a full depth fridge. If you are using standard base cabinets, they can be installed with a gap behind or your cabinet line may be available in extra depth cabinets.
Switching the existing corner cabinet for a wide drawer base cabinet will improve the quality of the storage so you will actually end up with more easily accessible storage. On the opposite wall, I think you could install a dw in the corner and a smaller single bowl sink next to it in roughly the same space as the existing sink.

Also, looks like there is a lower window on the right side of the picture. You could incorporate dining with built in bench below the window...

Did you want to remodel? or update?

Do you want this kitchen to look bigger or do you want to remodel it to be a more efficient kitchen that makes better use of the space?

You can make it look bigger -- by removing the upper cabinets and putting in a counter-depth fridge and less contrast between the cabinets, walls, and countertop -- but that doesn't make it a better or more efficient kitchen for you or anyone else (if this is a flip).

What's your actual goal with this kitchen?

U-shape: Put the deep appliances on one wall, the sink under the window, and 18" deep cabinets on the other wall. So, from left to right, fridge, cabinet, range, cabinet, corner, sink with 18" dishwasher on its right, then a bank of 18" deep cabinet past where the icemaker water pokes up, all the way to the low window. All drawers.

Galley shape: deep appliances on the left wall, nothing under the high window, bank of cabinets along the right wall. A sink can go in front of the low window; you can use a low shelf at windowsiil height behind the sink (good for a plant or cat ledge), or add a finished white panel to the back of the sink so it looks okay from outside.

Are you able to move walls or want to keep within this footprint.
If keeping within this footprint I would at least straighten out the corner wall. I also agree that a galley style kitchen would probably be the most effective solution
Loveeee the second picture that er612 suggested

It could make a huge difference to increase the size of the window(s?), particularly if you can expand the window width to most of the width of the far wall, and take the window height right down to the counter level.

Depending on the scale of your project, you could also consider eliminating that bulkhead/soffit above the cabinets and using taller wall cabinets.

One more idea is to use glass doors on some of the wall cabinets. That will allow your eye to go through to the back wall and not stop on the cabinet front. It could give you the view of about 2 more feet in room dimension.
