I would stick to a plain white or maybe a white with very minimal gray veining. Love the cabinet color choice

One more piece to the Puzzle is that the bar area also has a stone portion too that the granite needs to look nice against. I was worried white wouldn’t look nice on stone. Thoughts?

O gosh! Lol. Do you want the stone there? Are you ok to remove it and add cabinets or wall or something

I can’t tell if you just added it. Looks very well kept and new. I think I would still stay with the white.

Yes the stone has to stay. It was newly put in when the builder was renovating. Now we’re just trying to work with it.

If you are stuck with that stone, I would choose a counter that has very little speckling/movement etc. With two cabinet colors and the stone, you already have a lot going on. You may want to consider materials other than granite.

basement: pick a warm white formica or corian. just creams and whites..fine speckles or like that. Granite in a subgrade kitchen would be cold. you have the stone look criteria met w the small wall. go to a manmade warmer surface. the shades in the stone will be conducive . The brown for the bar is a little dark. medium is enough. do you have an inspiration shot???

Either one of those granites should work.
