Baseboard stain and doors

We have unfinished doors we purchased for our unfinished basement. We have some red oak unfinished baseboard from our father in law that he can give us which will save some money. We are gonna stain the doors in golden pecan. My question is I am trying to find out if the unfinished baseboards Since they are unfinished red oak with the same stain look different on baseboards as it does on the door ? On the stain they just give example of oak. They don’t differentiate from red oak or oak Or white oak ?

You didn't mention what variety of wood the doors are, but wood species does make a difference in how the pieces will take stain. You may need to use slightly different stains or finishing/staining techniques to get a good match.

Do you have pictures of the two (doors and baseboards) and/or know more about the woods?

The baseboards are red oak. The doors might be white oak. On the box just said unfinished oak doors. I will try and add pic.
