@Lisa Cain I have the same questions! Which did you end up choosing and how has your experience been?

I bought the raised one and I like it much better. Our old flush one had actually stopped working- I think because it got gunked up. The raised one seems to be more robust and isn't as obtrusive looking as I thought it might be.

@Lisa Cain. Thank you so much for your quick response! I think I am going to go with the raised button. I have the recessed button in my basement bar and it doesn't get a lot of use, but the one on the kitchen counter will get tons of abuse with my family. Do you know if yours is the WestBrass brand?

My kitchen remodel is nearing completion and this is one of the last things I need to decide! I am looking forward to the day when everything is installed and all the decision-making ends.

I know I had researched Westbrass and it seemed good. I bought mine from an eBay seller and they don’t seem to have a store anymore so I can’t confirm the details.
