Where should I place my tv?

I just cant figure out to where to place my tv since we have a corner fireplace. We do not like to have the tv on top of the fireplace since it's to high and impossible for everyone to watch tv comfortably. I tried to place the tv on the staircase wall but the glare makes watching tv impossible even when we close the blinds and pull the curtains. So we know placed it in front of the window and have the same problem with glare of the lights from Kitchen. The only other option I see is placing the tv in front of the fireplace ( we never use it anyway we have a wood burning fireplace in the formal living room which we use in the winter time) what would you do?

Usually I dont care for the tv about the FP but in this case it would be a great improvement...

as for me I would put it on the stairwell wall, I know its not ideal for foot traffic walking by but it will round out the room then you could put a swivel chair and ottoman under that window.

I would put the tv over the fireplace

My first thought was on the stairwell wall also. You'd have to get your cable or whatever wire to that wall though. What is behind the sectional where you are taking the picture from? Kitchen?

the tv appears to be wider than the fireplace, and the sconce placement. I dont think it will look right width or height-wise.

The stairwell is the perfect spot, you can even place it close to the table there and it would look even better
