Thank you. Do you happen to have any experience with Vadara quartz? I saw a few samples that I liked.

I used Gioa... my spelling is likely off, but it is really subtle, and was less than half the cost of Caesar stone. It's gorgeous and has held up beautifully!

We used Silestone in our master bathroom for the vanity, threshold into the shower and the top of the bench seat.

The only quartz I know are Cambrai, Ceasarstone, Silestone, LG Viatera and MSI. There are so many on the market no it is hard to keep track.

Our contractor recommends Compac. I saw the calacatta slab in person and thought it was beautiful. The carrara looks lovely too. I haven't used it though, so can't speak to anything beyond that.

Casarstone Calacatta Nuvo is a nice choice. We used it for this bathroom. Very subtle veining pattern, with a white background.

If you are in the market for a vanity, checkout our wide selection of both quartz and Carrara marble countertop vanities.

Depending on how big your vanity is and the fabricator you are dealing with, you may not have a lot of options. Local yards by me do not cut into full slabs for a vanity top. Many keep a remnants selection area for jobs like that.

Start there - you might get a beautiful stone at a great price!

Does anybody know what this type of quartz should cost (fabrication included)? Getting quotes all over the place. Some include sink cutouts, some do not.

@tamiort And the quotes will be all over the place. That is how that industry works. Some places price by the slab , some by the sq ft and charge for oversize pieces, some do more seams than others so they price less, some include certain edge details and others charge for all details.

This is why it is so important to get the tops quoted complete - not just look for a sq ft price.

When you do get a quote, ask what it includes? That way you are not caught off guard.

We are looking at Carrara Nuevo Vadara for our kitchen counter that looks nice with our Lait Grey cabinets. It has a white background with subtle grey veins. Maybe what you are looking for? Seems to be in the low to middle price range for quartz. I was wondering about Vadara brand as well. Good luck!

Hi. On our samples of quartz, there is a subtle coating on the surface. You only see it in shinting lights. Do all quartz have this? Is there something that can remove it? It almost resemble a coating of hairspray.

LG Viatera Minuet is very pretty, and will give you the look you want.

We just put in Vadara laneve Nuovo quartz in our kitchen. It is white with subtle gray veins. I think it’s beautiful!

I’m so confused now bc their website says this is a cool toned counter and my kitchen is more on the warmer side, and I don’t want it to clash. Seeing your pictures puts me at ease, but you hate to make such an expensive mistake!

@saracurr I don’t think it will clash. I remember reading that it was cool toned on their website and being concerned it would be stark and cold. It is neither. It sometimes reads white and sometimes a little grayer, but it blends nicely with the pure white and looks fine with my warm wood floor. I also have a wood island and I think it looks good with it too. I would not call the veining taupe. It is gray. It really is a beautiful quartz!
