Dacor used to be a good company. It’s just Samsung that charges more now.

Yeah I read somewhere that samsung bought dacor a few years ago, would you happen to know anything about their quality or reliability?

Read all the horror stories about Samsung’s customer service and lack of service providers.

Bought a Dacor 48" gas range. One of the ovens did not work the day I got it. It took a month to get it fixed. The second oven failed after 2.5 months and two weeks ago the oven the initially failed and was repaired failed again. I have been trying for 10 weeks not to get a replacement or get it fixed. Dacor passed the problem to Samsung who said they would refund my money. At the last minute they changed their mind and sent me back to Dacor. So far Dacor is telling me to remain patient. 10 weeks is patient enough. I would steer clear of Dacor. Their quality is horrible and their service is even worse.
