What Manufacturers Make Solid Bronze Cabinet Hardware?

These are who I know so far: Sun Valley Bronze, Ashley Norton, Signature Hardware.

(this is expensive solid bronze, NOT oil rubbed bronze finish)

I'm looking for one company that makes an oval knob, with backplates AND a restoration hardware gilmore pull lookalike. So far, Sun Valley I think has both, but there are too many color choices.

Sun Valley stated they had an 'aggressive sample policy' but when I requested a color disc from a dealer, they acted like I had requested to take the Mona Lisa out for the weekend. I was warned twice to bring it back. (accompanied by a dirty look. I am not exaggerating in the slightest).

I called Sun Valley to inquire if the term 'aggressive' sample policy was actually a threat, haha, but they were KIND and generous and are sending me the discs.

This is going to be a super pricey job and I want to make the correct choice the first time around.

Are there any other companies who craft solid bronze cab. hardware?

Thank you! Yep, they had that bin pull but it's a 3 1/2" pull, a tad too short. But good to know! Thank you again!

Try Horton Brasses. They work in a variety of metals, all made in the USA. Extraordinary quality if they have, or can make, what you need.

No matter which FINISH it looks like on a disc, cabinet hardware is something in your hand all day and every day. Far better to order ONESIES of the actual in the finishes "most likely" from any.company. Feel the weight, and check hand "feel"

This is especially true of bin pulls. - either a comfortable fit for your hand.......... or they aren't. As to oval knobs? Nice look, annoying when even with a locking pin, they "spin" to crooked.

Jan, I had not thought of the spinning. I love them so much though, I can't even consider not using them. It will just have to be an annoyance I learn to live with. I agree with the 'feel'. I'm very tactile and quite honestly, that is one reason I fell in love with the ashley norton bronze knobs. They were stunning to look at and loved how they felt. So far, I have purchased 'one' of everything I have considered.

Jan Moyer, I'm so glad you posted that. This morning, I rummaged around in my sample bag and found my gilmore pull from restoration hardware in bronze, and the similar pull from rejuvenation. They are quite similar, except the RH has a little lip along the horizontal edge.

I prefer the look and feel of the RH pull, however, I absolutely 100% cannot stand the look of a fake bronze finish. I cannot stress this enough.

This is why I"m willing to make compromises elsewhere in order to purchase solid dark bronze hardware. I love the ashley norton finish the most and the look, but they don't make a rectangle shaped pull. The look, the feel....all so organic and wonderful

Sorry about the large print size, a cut a paste job ;) I have had these knobs in my kitchen for 5 years. Solid, sandcast bronze, which feel fabulous and are pleasure to touch daily. They come in a light bronze, but I have the medium bronze which has the slightest light glimmer along the edge. There is also a near-black bronze which I did not like as well. The knobs are available in 2 sizes, and there are multiple coordinating handles available too. As a fellow tactile person whose partner does NOT understand (you spent HOW MUCH for Knobs??!?) I hope you find what you want.
