Califonia and dried fruit?

California has very serious regulations about fruit transport. Can you take or send DRIED fruit to California? I see no clear statement from the CDFA about that. I guess the question is whether the evil stuff that comes with fresh fruit is still around when the fruit is dried. A pointer to any pertinent regulation would be appreciated.
