what color are your cabinets? Love the color

It was a custom colour they are more warm than I wanted them but I do like it still but I would like the wall colour to bring out the grey more.

    3rd chip from the top

    Agreed with @eightpondfarm. OC-15

Oc 15 is the only one I would consider but I don't like any of them very much. I'd keep looking, and consider pale blues and greens as well.

Will a blue or green look ok with my bm Navajo white trim?

What are your counter, backsplash and floors like? You have to consider the whole space and paint can come last.

Here is the countertop and floor.

Yes, blue or green would be fine with your trim, depending on the shade. Given the color of your floors I would definitely lean away from the cool grey paints and look for something that will help bridge the gap between floors and cabinets.

Biondanonima Could you suggest a colour just so I have an idea of what to look for please?

I am definitely not a paint expert so I am sure those who are will have better suggestions, but what about something like SW Sea Salt, Tide Water, Topsail, or BM Ocean Air or Woodlawn Blue?

Really any color will go with your cabinets and trim. Try placing your paint chips on the counter and choose the one that compliments the best, as you don’t want too much going on. What is your backsplash like?

I don’t have a back splash yet. So I can match that afterwards:) Maureen, if you wanted to make this space more bright and airy without pulling out too much of the pink/peach out of the cabinets and trim what colour would you be inclined to lean towards?

I would go with one of the lighter shades, but line them up next to each other so you can better identify their undertones. Lighting in a room has a big effect as well, so it’s hard to suggest a color. Warm whites will be the family that will lean more towards pink or peach. Ask the paint consultant to pull chips and I‘d suggest the neutral family.

Thank you! I had white dove in my chips and it was my first choice for a long time! It’s Oc-17 on my strips above.

Here it is here. White Dove Oc-17

No pink and feels fresh. How is it with your counter?

It looks nice with the countertop

I’m just nervous because it’s lighter than my Navajo white trim.

Navajo looks quite dark for trim? What about using simply white if you want the trim to be lighter than walls?

Maybe get test lots and test all three

Navajo white is quite dark but all the trim, doors everything is already painted with it. Not sure o want to repaint it all! Lol

That’s why I’ve been trying to work with it

Tried to find an approximate example. If you don’t like the walls lighter than trim, line up your darker choices next to each other and also place on counter and narrow down to two and get pots to test. Good luck. When I painted my kitchen cabinets I hated the look and cried after all the work, so I understand you wanting to get it right (the good news is it was easy to fix).

The Navajo White is very warm to my eye. I don't think any of the cool whites will work with it, and I wouldn't use a white for the walls that is lighter than the trim in any case. I understand your desired to "cool" off the colors in the room, but your floors and trim are warm and your cabinets lean that way too, so these cool/grey whites are going to fight everything else in the room. Here are some greens/blues so you can see how they work with the trim, cabs and floors (of these, Sea Salt and Piedmont are my favorite).
